Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Teanest Nightingale by Nature Resorts, I found myself enchanted by the beauty of the Nilgiris. Nestled amidst lush forests and tea plantations, the property offers an idyllic escape for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Our rooms, the 'Scarlett Minivet' and 'Hoopoe,' were immaculate and spacious, providing stunning views of the rolling hills that made waking up each morning feel like a dream. What truly stood out was the extraordinary service from the staff, particularly Mr Rajnikanth, who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The food was another highlight—delicious and made to order, with a generous breakfast spread that catered to all tastes, from traditional South Indian dishes to comforting classic fare. Each morning, I embraced the opportunity to immerse myself in nature with a guided estate walk, where the vibrant flora and fauna truly nourished my biologist's heart. If you’re looking for a spot that combines splendid scenery, phenomenal service, and a touch of the local culture, Teanest is undoubtedly worth a visit!
